Best of Broadway is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing a live theatrical experience to the community of Greater Sacramento and Placer. Through music, song and dance its goals are to educate, entertain and inspire local children, youth and adults.

Best of Broadway Benefit Productions, Inc., is a nonprofit performing arts organization dedicated to developing and showcasing local talent in Sacramento.

Each September, we present the Best of Broadway production. Through this show, we offer:

A nonprofit performing arts tradition, now in its 36th year
A live concert, featuring highlights of song and dance from Broadway musicals, old and new
A top-quality production, produced and directed by Sacramento's own David L. MacDonald, which consistently receives rave reviews
A new show every year--a wholesome entertainment value for the whole family
A talented cast of more than 200 volunteer performers, selected each June from nearly 1,000 persons who audition for the production
A workshop and showcase for performers of all ages and races, from throughout the Sacramento area

An opportunity for nonprofit partners to earn greatly needed dollars for their programs

What We Do

Celebrate a message of service, love and hope through music, song and dance, bringing joy to the hearts of thousands
Build self-esteem and confidence in Sacramento's finest volunteer performers, developing and challenging their individual gifts and talents
Display civic pride in our community, by fulfilling its need to foster and enjoy the performing arts
Give local nonprofit organizations a chance to raise funds to serve children and adults in need throughout our community
